As with most tool bits, the most important aspect is how long it stays sharp. I have used it to plunge-rout dozens of electrical outlet holes in a log cabin's walls. So far it is still sharp even though the red paint is mostly gone from wear and tear.
Not much too this one. It's cheap, cuts well, holds an edge well and does what a straight bit should do. ;)
This bit works. It has done everything I expected. I use it with a collar to flush trim along templates for out door furniture. It is best with a two horse or better machine.
